CLASS IS FULL

Class Description:
Have you recently upgraded or just bought a digital/mirrorless camera and enjoy photographing wildlife in the outdoors, or do you have a good eye and that animal photo just did not turn out right, then this class is for you. Course is primarily for upper beginners or serious hobbyists who wish to take their nature photography to the next level and own something more than a point and shoot camera.

Class segments will concentrate on wildlife photography by instructing the fundamentals (equipment, composition, depth or field, histograms, light compensation, auto-focus) and some advanced techniques of digital photography.

This is a three-segment seminar.  Part one, will be classroom instruction. Part two, is a short outdoor field session with students taking photographs and applying taught classroom essentials. Part three, will be back in the classroom to review images and applying a digital workflow, using Adobe Photoshop. At the conclusion of this course, students will understand the basic operations of their camera, comprehend photography terminology and most importantly what it takes to capture an excellent wildlife photo for both printing and on the web.

Requirements: Digital or mirrorless Camera. Other helpful items: Camera manual; Laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed; knowing where and what the buttons do on your camera.
